NEW: User Journal Enteries email to someone | printer friendly
I have installed a new feature to our open source part of ZowieWowie.com Special Edition. Its a blog/journal that I will be involved in telling snippets of my past history and what goes on in my mind. I never done a blog before so forgive me. Also, if you become a registered user of this site you can post your own blog and other visitors can see what you write.

It's not as robust as other free blogging sites or live journal but its functional.

And its mainly for me. In case anybody wonder what goes on inside of the head of someone who designed a site like this -- even though we don't have much of an audience.

It will server as content also -- as content is hard to come by these days...

If anyone out there wants to hit me up with an idea for a full feature article or review for the front part of ZowieWowie email me at davwebb@lexweb.org

I think there is a online form on the site that lets you sumbit an idea for an article. It goes right to my website. I think it works. You can go there or email me directly.

thanks

A Second Version of A Good Man Is Hard to Find. email to someone | printer friendly

I wasn't too happy with my final version of the movie we did back in college. The effects didn't turn out quite right. So, now, I am remastering the footage and using some new filters to make it look like old film. I also redid the titling and corrected the mispellings. I was contacted by a highschool teacher who is also an actor. He wrote me an email saying that he wanted to do a low budget version of this same film with himself casted as the Misfit. He has a full working script. He asked for my insights but he hasn't seen the movie yet. Please remember in order to view the movie you must have QuickTime installed. It's quick and easy to install.

go to www.apple.com/quicktime/download/

You will then be able to see the movie. Its not a perfect edit and the new version will be much better when its rendered to windows media format. If you have a movie that you would like to present on ZowieWowie please email me at david.webb@lexweb.org. We would like to interview you about your movie and show it on our site if its not too long and doesn't eat up too much bandwidth. enjoy the film.

ZowieWowie Productions Presents: A Good Man Is Hard to Find. email to someone | printer friendly

In the hot summer 1995, Rebecca, Georgia, now editor-in-Chief of ZowieWowie.com, David Webb, and his best friend and roommate set out to adapt this short story as a film short for college credit in their English 101 class at Middle Georgia College. They ended up both receiving an 'A' in place of one of their essay papers. The Screenplay was condensed and adapted by David Webb, and he also served as scripting coach. The actors and their parts were unrehearsed, and the whole film was shot in the time period of about a day and half. There were no retakes, except for post-production editing by David Webb after 10 years since it's original filming on a simple VHS camcorder. The film was remastered, edited, and restored after a decade in the possession by David Webb as a second generation VHS copy. David has a cameo as Hiram, the criminal partner of the Misfit. Mark Williams, the cinematographer and director, plays Red Sammy. Originally set to music of famous hollywood movies, the old musical score has been deleted, and a new score was added written and performed by David Webb. After a decade on the shelf, A Good Man Is Hard to Find is now being released by ZowieWowie Productions. Video Coming Soon.
